Klunkers, a wheaten terrier/sharpei mix K-9, was born on a sunny Thursday in August, 2004. The first year of his life was a little rough, where Klunkers ended up in the LA County Animal Shelter. A very nice lady, Marina Baktis, owner of a rescue organization called “Mutts & Moms”, saw Klunkers who was sick with a very bad cold and who really needed a bath! She quickly rescued him and took him to the veterinarian (animal hospital) where he stayed for about a month to get well and clean up.
After Klunkers felt better, we found him on Marina’s doggie website: www.muttsandmoms.org, fell in love with him at first site, then adopted him on August 8th, 2005.
Klunkers is now a happy, healthy, and FAMOUS doggie who is very loved! He would very much enjoy hearing from you kids, so ask your mom or dad to help you write a letter or email to Klunkers and/or enter his “Kid’s Kontests!” He’s very smart and can’t wait to hear from you!
